Module 03 · Ordering

A menu that always shows what's actually available

A digital menu isn't a PDF: every item has a photo, a description, an allergen list, nutrition values and options, and the prices come from your POS software. What the guest sees is today's offer, not last year's laminated sheet.

Who it is for

For cafés, bars and canteens where the offer changes weekly, or where a lot of items are customisable: extra milk, extra ice, size, topping. And for anyone serving guests in several languages, because the guest brings their menu language with them.

How it works

  1. We load the menu once, properly

During the setup week we fill the backoffice together: photo, description, allergens, nutrition values, option groups and menu item groups. After that you edit it yourself, with no developer: a new item, a new photo or a new option can go up at any time, and the guest sees it the next time they open the app.

  2. The price comes from the POS

Product prices are synced from your POS software and versioned, so you can look up what was in effect when. You don't have to type a price in two places, and the till and the menu can't drift apart.

  3. Availability is a single toggle

Croissants sold out? One click and it's off the menu. Guests don't order what you don't have, and the staff don't have to apologise for it. You switch it back on in the evening and carry on.

What you get out of it

  • The guest finds the answer themselves

Allergens, nutrition values, description and options sit right next to the item. Fewer questions at the counter, faster decisions at the table, fewer wrong orders. And a new colleague no longer has to know by heart what's in the sauce.

  • A bigger basket thanks to options

Options are part of the order rather than a verbal afterthought: the extra milk, the larger size or the extra topping lands on the ticket — and in the revenue — with its surcharge.

  • One menu, several languages, several venues

Several languages run in one app with a default you set per venue, and several venues fit under one account, each with its own offer.

  • The same menu on every surface

Phone ordering and the kiosk work from the same menu: you edit it in one place and it shows up on both, price changes and availability included.

More detail

  • Price sync from the POS software
  • Product price versioning
  • VAT invoice data capture

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need QR stands on the tables?

It isn't a hardware question: the menu is available in the native app and in the browser, with the same account. Whether a table QR, a window sticker or the in-app feed is the better entry point is something we tailor to your venue during the assessment.

  • Who loads the menu, and how long does it take?

Loading it is the second step of the rollout: branding, menu, rewards and top-up tiers go into the backoffice together. After that the day-to-day editing — new item, price, availability — is in your hands, with no developer involved.

  • What happens when a price changes in the till?

The product price syncs from your POS software, and the change is kept as a version, so you can still see later what cost what. How your particular till connects is something we go through in the assessment.

  • Who is responsible for the allergen data?

The fields are there on every item — allergens, nutrition values, description — but you fill in the content, because your kitchen knows the recipe. It can be edited in the backoffice at any time, and the guest immediately sees the current version.

Let's load your first menu together

After the assessment we upload your offer, the options and the price sync together during the setup week, so your menu is live on day one.
