Module 06 · Backoffice

See which guest group brings the revenue — then aim the campaign at it

Custom analytics per venue, per period and per guest group, with segmentation alongside it: a guest group filtered by behaviour becomes a campaign in one click. Every transaction, campaign and guest movement lives in the same database, so the picture isn't assembled from merged exports.

Who it is for

For operators running several venues and for whoever owns marketing — bars, cafés, canteens and festival organisers. It becomes essential once you want to know not only how much came in, but from whom and when. In a canteen it's usually the spread of the daily load that shows up first; in a bar, the difference between the weekend and the weekday crowd.

How it works

  1. Every movement flows into one database

Credit top-ups, orders, ticket purchases, rewards and campaigns all end up in the same backoffice. You don't have to export from separate systems for the picture to come together.

  2. Your own views, your own metrics

You set what you want to see: which venue, which period, which guest group. The comparison follows your breakdown, not a pre-built dashboard. If one venue has different opening hours or a different crowd, it doesn't have to disappear into a shared average.

  3. Filter becomes segment, segment becomes campaign

A group filtered by behaviour — someone who hasn't been in for two months, or who only comes at weekends — can be lifted into a campaign in one click: push, email or a promo code.

What you get out of it

  • Compare venues in one place

Several venues run under one account, so you look at the bar and the café on the same metric. You don't have to guess why a week was weaker — you can go and look.

  • Auditable transactions

Every credit and reward movement is traceable, and invoicing is reported automatically. You're not the one collecting line items for the accountant. The transaction history lets you look up item by item what happened on a given day or with a given guest.

  • Segmentation isn't a separate project

There's no list to export and upload into another tool: filtering and sending live in the same system. Launching a campaign becomes a matter of minutes, not days.

  • You can see afterwards what the send produced

Because campaigns and transactions sit in the same database, you can look back after a send and see what it brought in: turnover, top-ups or redemptions.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I have to replace my till or bar software?

No. Cheers doesn't work instead of your bar software: product prices can be synced from it, while credit, ordering and loyalty movements accumulate in Cheers. How exactly that fits your till is something we review during the assessment.

  • What does the guest see of this?

Nothing. Analytics and segmentation are backoffice features; the guest only feels the result — the offer or message meant for them. What actually reaches them is decided in the campaign, not here.

  • Who can access the data?

Permission management decides who sees what: a venue manager only needs their own venue, the owner sees all of them. Data handling, consent and deletion are documented processes, and GDPR compliance is part of the platform.

  • Can I get the data into my own systems?

The platform offers an open API, so data can be passed into your own tools. Exactly what to hand over, where and how often is something we clarify during the assessment. Thanks to the automatic invoicing report, the financial extract is usually there without exporting anywhere.
