Module 02 · Credit
Revenue that arrives first: guests top up, then spend it with you
Credit is a prepaid balance inside your own app: the guest tops up with a bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and from then on spends money that is already with you. The revenue arrives before the consumption does, and the bonus credit tied to top-up tiers is yours to set — you decide how much it is worth putting up a larger amount in one go.
Who it is for
For bars, cafés and canteens where the same faces come back every week, and for festivals where the queue is the most expensive thing on site. It pays off most when you already have a regular crowd, and until now every round had to be paid for separately, at the moment of ordering.
How it works
The guest tops up their balance
A few taps in the app: bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and the balance is ready to spend right away. Anyone who turns up with cash tops up at the counter, so cash-paying guests aren't left out.
They get a bonus you set
You attach gift credit to top-up tiers: you decide how much credit is given for how much money. And if you want to compensate a guest, look after a VIP or fund a campaign, you can grant credit manually in a few clicks.
They spend it with you, itemised
Credit pays on site and in the webshop, and loyalty counts there too. Every movement lands in the transaction history, and each top-up produces a sequentially numbered receipt. Cashback and redeemed rewards land as credit on the same balance, so even the money you give back gets spent with you.
What you get out of it
Predictable cash flow
The money arrives before the consumption does. You are not financing Monday's delivery out of the weekend's takings, because the balances have already been loaded. And with top-up tiers you steer how much comes in at once.
Higher average spend
The loaded balance gets spent with you, not next door — and the bonus credit is one more reason for the guest to come back to you next time.
Compensation without an argument
If an order goes wrong, nobody has to open the till: a few clicks credit the guest's balance, and that credit brings them back in.
Paperwork that holds up
A credit purchase produces a sequentially numbered receipt, as the accounting rules require, and every movement stays traceable — you are not closing the day from memory.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a new till, or do I have to replace my POS?
It doesn't come to take your till's place: product prices can be synced from your POS, and the connection runs over an open API. Exactly how that looks with your specific system is one of the first questions in the free assessment.
How much is there for the staff to learn?
There are two new moves behind the counter: serving a guest who pays with credit, and taking a cash top-up. We run staff training before go-live, and the whole rollout takes three weeks — assessment, setup, launch. You don't have to fill the backoffice on your own either: credit tiers, branding and rewards go in together during the setup stage.
What does the guest see, and what happens to their data?
In your own branded app they see their balance, the bonus they received and their earlier transactions — they are not using some third-party payment brand, they are using your app. Data handling, consent and the deletion process are documented end to end, in line with GDPR.
Which payment methods can be used to top up?
Today: bank card, Apple Pay and Google Pay in the app, and cash at the counter. EUR support is in development, and SZÉP card payment is on the roadmap and can be prioritised on request.
